The Private Equity Africa (PEA) every year supports one charity at the annual PEA Awards Gala Dinner.
As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, PEA is pleased to be opening up the charity segment to industry players to enable them to fundraise for their own charities.
This is an opportunity for players to showcase their charities to the rest of the industry.
Firms that raise the most funds for their charities will win an award on the night!
Firms can start raising for charity a month before the gala dinner. Additional funds will be raised on the night.
- Be a children related charity or is raising funds for children or youth program
- Be based in or have operations in Africa
- Must select Corporate Partner* that will lead the fundraising.
- Is raising funds specifically for an Africa-based project
PEA can only promote a limited number of charities on the night, charities will be reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis.
Please note that all charities need a Charity Corporate Partner to participate. A Charity Corporate Partner will be leading the fundraising for the charity, and should be an investor or advisor in the global private equity industry. A charity can also have a non-private equity Charity Corporate Partner, for as long as it is a UK-based for-profit company.
